  • Health information (including dietary requirements, allergies and health conditions)

  • Photographs or video recordings

  • Identification documents

  • Information relating to compliments or complaints

  • Information relating to running experience

When you sign up for the event, we will collect the relevant data via our entry system partner Entry Central Please familiarise yourself with their privacy policy.

 

We will also share your entry data with our timing and tracking partner Open Tracking Please familiarise yourself with their privacy policy.

Where necessary, we will also share relevant data with our race day medical team, officials, volunteers and race staff.​

Aside from our own website, we may also share your information relating to race results with race result and statistical websites, including (but not limited to): Run Britain, Power of 10, Deutsche Ultramarathon-Vereinigung DUV (Outside of UK: Germany).

However, we must hold your personal data for the purposes of the event and you agree to this as a condition of entry. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you.

  • Your right to withdraw consent – When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you make a request, we must respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month.

We will retain your entry data for a maximum of 2 years after an event.

Contact information gathered by event entry is saved for the purpose of occasional future event updates and correspondence only. You can request to be removed from such communications at any time by emailing us at essexwayultra@gmail.com

 

Race results will be published online as outlined above and in our terms and conditions.
